Competition entry for a local village preschool able to be built by local labourers using sustainably sourced local materials and techniques. Our inspiration was an organic village like space- familiar and welcoming for the children. The proposal also considered the specific environmental needs- large areas of shade and shelter as well as a rainwater collection system for which the mechanism was exposed as a playful educational component.
