We are proud to be a firm that values community, cares for the environment, and embraces our responsibility to society.
We understand that everything is connected, and believe it is our responsibility to give back to the environments and communities around us. Together, with our clients, partners, and community members, we want to contribute to a brighter future - one of compassion, sustainability, and the well-being of all:
We are a concerned and motivated firm that knows the importance of giving back to the community we are a part of.
Community
We believe we have a duty of care to our environment and our society and are committed to this belief with a policy of volunteering and community engagement.
Volunteering
We have a relationship with the Ōpāwaho / Heathcote estuary and have been periodically working to clean up the estuary for the last 6+ years.
Clean Ups
We are working alongside the local Council, as well as Conservation Volunteers New Zealand, and help with plantings, weed control, pest proofing, and maintenance on sites across Christchurch and the Port Hills.
Partnerships
Every few months, the team takes part in planting days as a way to give back to the environment. These days focus on adding new trees and plants to the landscape, supporting biodiversity, and helping create healthier ecosystems. By setting aside time for this work, the team contributes to greener spaces and a positive impact on the environment that will continue to grow over time.
Planting & Revitalisation
We award internship positions to university and polytechnic students on a regular basis as well as periodically offering work experience to secondary school students.
Internship Programs
Giving back is at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to support a number of incredible charities across New Zealand, including Barnardos, Dementia Canterbury, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New Zealand (MSNZ), Starship Children’s Hospital, and Drug-Arm. Each of these organisations makes a real difference in the lives of children, families, and communities
